Which trains can I reserve with my Global Plus Pass?
You can hop on most trains in Europe with just your Eurail Global Plus Pass. If your train journey requires seat reservations, you can book them via our timetable. Seats on the following train routes can be reserved for no extra fee using your Global Plus Pass and reservation credits.
While most trains that can be reserved with your Pass require no credits, a few trains may need 1 or more credits. We recommend purchasing the Plus Pass if you're planning on travelling to the following countries. If you want to travel to a country outside of this list with seat reservations, we recommend using a regular Eurail Global Pass.

What is a travel day?
A travel day is a 24-hour period during which you can travel on as many trains as you want! It lasts from 00:00 to 23:59 on the same calendar day.
Which Pass should I choose?
The Eurail Plus Pass is only for non-European citizens or legal residents. Are you an EU citizen? Bring an external residency document or go for an Interrail Plus Pass.
Are there any exclusions?
The Global Plus Pass does not cover booking paper seat reservations and reserving sleeping accommodations on night trains or trains not listed in our Timetable.
Conditions of this Pass

Only non-European residents can travel with a Eurail Plus Pass. If you’re a European resident you can travel with an Interrail Plus Pass.
Most high-speed and night trains require a reservation at an additional cost. Learn more about seat reservations
1st class Passes are valid in both 1st and 2nd class coaches. 2nd class Passes are only valid in 2nd class coaches.
You need to activate your Eurail Plus Pass within 3 months of the date of purchase.
All standard Eurail Plus Passes are refundable or exchangeable if they are returned unused. Read our booking terms and our refund & exchange policy.

- Additional conditions for Youth travelers

- To travel with a discounted Youth Pass, you must be aged from 12 up to and including 27 on the date you choose to start your trip.
- Additional conditions for Senior travelers

- To travel with a discounted Senior Pass, you must be aged 60 or older on the date you choose to start your trip.
- Additional conditions for Adults with Children

- Children under 4 travel for free and do not need an Eurail Pass. You may be asked to sit a child under 4 on your lap during busy times.
Children aged 4 to 11 travel for free with a Child Pass. A child must be accompanied at all times by at least one person with an Adult Pass. This doesn’t have to be a family member and can be anyone over 18.
- Children must be 11 or younger on the date you choose to start your trip.
- Up to 2 children can travel with 1 adult. For example, when 2 adults are travelling, they can take 4 children with them. If more than 2 children are travelling with 1 adult, a separate Youth Pass must be purchased for each additional child.
- Children under 12 travel in the same travel class as the accompanying adult.
- Please remember to add any Child Passes to your order along with your Adult Pass(es) before payment. It is not possible to add them to your order after purchase.
Travellers aged 12 to 27 can travel with a Youth Pass.

Change of currency
You cannot change the currency once you have a Pass in your cart. Remove the Pass, and then change the currency on the website header.
